Parenting style and the active involvement of fathers in child-rearing

The active involvement of fathers in child-rearing affects the child’s overall growth and development, parenting style impacts direction influence on individual aspects a life. In order to achieve gender equality society, it is necessary raise public awareness importance father’s role, desirable style, his inclusion all family aim research determine level father child-rearing, as well dominant based children’s assessment. A total 290 pupils from 10 elementary schools Osijek-Baranja County participated this research, whom were grades 5-8. Sociodemographic data, 2018 parent questionnaire - URU18, behavior 29 URP29 used. results are line with conducted so far, they indicate education supportive aiming at housework child care. Father’s significantly presupposes housework, taking care school-related duties obligations, participation leisure activities. significant positive predictor forms involvement, i.e., activities, care, counseling. raising parental fathers’ child-rearing.
